Messequartier
SOLID’s newest Austrian project is a plant with more than 700 m2 / 7560 ft² collector area for the new housing development “Messequartier” in Graz, Austria. It will be built in cooperation with the installation company DI WAGNER GmbH & Co KG, which does the mounting and installation while SOLID is responsible for the planning and design plus delivery of technical key components.
Participate in the SDH Workshop Solar district heating: a cost-effective solution…today
The Workshop on Solar District Heating in Ferrara, Italy takes place on the 29th and 30th of September 2011. It will be an international forum of exchange between interested and experienced heat suppliers, local utilities and communities who face the challenge to make their district heating grids more sustainable. The SDH workshop is a parallel session of Geothermexpo 2011, which is a Conference dedicated to systems, technologies, instruments and services for geothermal energy, with a focus on medium and low temperature.
SOLID is subtask leader for International Energy Agency
The international research project “Task 45 - Large Systems: Large Solar Heating/Cooling Systems, Seasonal Storage, Heat Pumps” started in January 2011 and is part of the IEA Solar Heating and Cooling Programme. Jan Erik Nielsen from Denmark is operating agent and SOLID is one of the very few commercial enterprises who take the subtask lead for International Energy Agency (IEA). This emphasises both the siginificance of research and development for SOLID and the high qualitiy of the research work of SOLID.
