Christian Holter awarded as „Person of the Year 2017” in the category “Economy” in Graz
On Wednesday, the 17th of January 2018, excited nominees came together at the Graz “People of the year 2017” Awards Ceremony. Knowing he had been shortlisted for the category “Economy” was a huge privilege in itself for Christian Holter, but to actually win the award, when up against other well deserving candidates, was outstanding!
Christian Holter was voted “Person of the year 2017” for his pioneering work in the solar thermal industry and the foundation of the company SOLID more than 25 years ago.
“To make money is not enough for us!” said Christian Holter and highlighted SOLID´s contribution to climate protection measures. Customers of SOLID save energy costs and actively protect the climate.
For over 25 years, Christian Holter has been a solar pioneer in the field of thermal energy. In 1992, he and three colleagues founded the company SOLID. Today, SOLID is an international key player in the field of solar thermal large scale applications.
About 300 large projects have been set up successfully around the globe. The plants provide clean energy from the sun for heating and cooling demands.
The award in Graz as “Person of the Year in Economy 2017” was given in front of over 200 well known guests, such as the vice-mayor of Graz Mario Eustacchio, or the board member and concern speaker of “Energie Graz”, Christian Purrer and Urs Harnik-Lauris.
The SOLID Team and Christian Holter thank all voters for their outstanding support! THANK YOU!!
