Congratulations to Ökotech for being awarded with the TRIGOS!
Our partner company ÖKOTECH has been awarded on with the Austrian price TRIGOS under 166 nominations. The TRIGOS is the Austrian recognition for CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility). ÖKOTECH is not only focused on environmental technology and high standards on the products but also offers jobs to handicapped people. The Austrian Minister for social affairs, Rudolf Hundsdorfer, the Austrian Minister for environment, Nikolaus Berlakovic, the President of the Austrian Industry Association Veit Sorger handed over the award.
The project of ÖKOTECH highlights with a long term strategy of integration in the company. Many handicapped employees have been integrated in the working process of the company. So ÖKOTECH could create many permanent jobs in a sector with huge potential for the future, which in addition creates benefits for the environment. The jury is impressed by the social commitment, which exceeds for a company being in a competitive market average by far. By producing a ecological beneficial product, solar collectors, the core business area is in accordance with CSR guidelines.
